ECC’s Harding Named to NJCAA Division II Midwest Region First Team

Ellsworth Community College is proud to announce that standout softball player, Maddy Harding, has been named to the NJCAA Division II Midwest Region First Team by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). This prestigious honor recognizes Harding's exceptional performance and dedication throughout the season.

The NFCA announced the selection of 76 student-athletes from 34 schools who comprise the 2024 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-Region teams. Harding's inclusion in the Midwest Region First Team highlights her as one of the top outfielders in the division, a testament to her hard work, skill, and sportsmanship on the field.

Harding's achievements contributed significantly to Ellsworth Community College's softball season, making her a standout player in the Midwest region. The competition was fierce, with Parkland College leading the Midwest region with five players selected, followed by Rock Valley College with four. Ellsworth Community College is proud to have Harding represent the school on this esteemed list.

The All-Region teams honor student-athletes from the Association's three NJCAA Division II regions, with selections made to one of two teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and vote for the winners in their respective regions. All honorees, including Harding, will be considered for the NFCA NJCAA Division II All-America teams, which will be announced on May 31.
