IOWA FALLS, IOWA -- Ellsworth CC had 10 members of its women's basketball team earn places on the 2024 Spring Academic All-Region teams released by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.  The academic honor lists include the 1st team student-athletes who had grade point averages of 3.5 and above, and the 2nd team individuals with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.  A student-athlete's highest GPA was recognized, either their cumulative GPA or spring-semester GPA. 

Members of the ECC women's basketball team who are on the academic 1st team are Favour Nmecha Anyaele, Ingrid Martinez Guillen, Key'LaJaha Jefferson-Putman, Laia Santanach, Marin Lind Agustsdottir, Nile Celaya and Taylor Ross.  Those on the 2nd team are Cailin Reimer, Ellyse Ball and Fabiana Nieves Martinez.

All 10 of these student-athletes were also on the 2023 Fall Academic All-Region teams.

Ellsworth Community College had a total of 114 student-athletes from 8 different teams that earned 2024 Spring Academic All-Region honors.
